This character popped up in a sketching session over the weekend. I think I know who she is. I’m looking forward to finding out if I’m right. In the meantime I’ll flesh out some more sketches for her.

She invites exploration, no doubt. There are strong hints of a matriarch, of sternness, but also some fragility here as well. THe strongest question she invoked in me when looking at her was “can she love?”
